ASPRO

Our Biology Master Mr A Suryaprakasha Rao is one who inspired us into medicine. He is one who taught with his heart and soul, hence we never took notes! The subject matter was just embedded into the brain. I never forgot his role in my life. Many years later a gentleman who is my regular patient asked if could see me for a moment not as a patient. He asked me if I was from KV M , I said yes. He then asked me if I knew a Mr A Suryaprakasha Rao, well I launched into all praise and told how he inspired all of us at (Those interested in Biology) KV M to medicine. After I finished he told me "Thanks, I have made up my mind" which surprised me! This gentleman was the person authorized by Govt Of Kuwait for recruitment of Principal for the CBSE school there! There was one more candidate in the short list for the same job!! Our Bio Master made it the job.He used to say good teachers will be premium one day ,how true.

Dr. Rao,

I too agree with you. Mr Surya Prakash Rao was an inspiration. For me he was my best teacher. I remember how all of us (we were a handful), bio students sat around his table with rapt attention. I always looked forward for his class.
I was a regular flunker in some of the subjects. My dad was summoned to the school by the Princi just before the boards. He had to face the volleys from almost all our teachers. One of the teachers even said that I would not be able to get III rd division. I could see the pain in my Dad's eyes. Luckyly he met ASPRO after he had met everyone. You know what ASPRO said "Your son will get First Division. Just don't worry." My dad wad stumped. He narrated his KV visit later in the evening at home. And at the end my dad told me. Somehow I believe your Bio Sir. Those words of Bio Sir, I shall never forget. Those words got me first division. Though destiny never made me a Doc, but it definitely made me what I am today. If I have a choice to select my teacher in the next Janma, I would love to be the student of this great man.

I salute you 1000 times my dear Bio Sir!
